Steps to change a flat tire

Step 1: Prepare yourself for the repair by ensuring that your vehicle is parked on a flat surface away from oncoming traffic and the emergency parking brake is deployed.

Step 2: Locate the spare tire and the tool kit from under the trunk lining. Roll the spare tire towards the side of the flat tire.

Step 3: Use the wrench to loosen the lug nuts slightly. Now use the jack to raise the vehicle by positioning it the crevice near the flat tire.

Step 4: Once the vehicle is raised just above ground level, use the wrench to take off the lug nuts. Slowly remove the wheel and keep it aside.

Step 5: Replace the flat tire with the spare tire and replace the lug nuts. Don’t tighten them entirely until the wheel touching ground level.

Step 6: Lower the jack until the wheel touches the surface. Tighten the lug nuts all the way and then replace the tool kit and the flat tire under the trunk lining.

Step 7: Check the air pressure in your tire using a tire pressure monitor or gauge.

Step 8: Visit the nearest service center to have all your wheels checked.
